We are excited to announce another trip back to East Africa! This one will be in Tanzania at the time of the wildebeest migration, and the delivery of animal babies. We did a similar itinerary with a group in January 2009 and it was voted as perfect!
Our trip is 14 days in Tanzania, including Arusha National Park, Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Lake Eyasi, Ngorongoro Crater, and the Serengeti.
Depending on the group's wishes, we can arrange group airfare from the U.S. and stopovers in Europe.
If you are only traveling from the U.S. to Tanzania, without first traveling in another country such as Kenya, a yellow fever innoculation is only recommended--not required. However, if you are on a safari to both Kenya and Tanzania, and visit Kenya first, you must have a yellow fever certificate in order to enter Tanzania. Or if you are flying through Nairobi you must have a yellow fever certificate--even if you never leave the airport.
We have photos albums of each day from the 2009 trip for those of you who want to spend some vicarious time in Africa. If these prompt you to want to experience the real thing you’ll want to sign up for our January 2010 trip. We’re doing a similar itinerary as in January 2009 because of the thumbs-up from this past group.
